The AEgir secure web hosting system is an open source application built to automate best practices for deploying and managing websites. The Consensus team includes long-standing maintainers of the Aegir hosting system, as well as the core team building the next generation of AEgir.

We are active participants in the Aegir community, and the broader Drupal ecosystem in which it lives, and are well-positioned to support legacy Aegir installations as well as new deployments to support secure, self-managed hosting of sites.

The next generation

Consensus has spearheaded the Aegir 5 initiative to modernize the AEgir system, rethinking its architecture and enabling it to host any web application. We are enthusiastic about finding and partnering with AEgir users, to inform and support the development effort to release the next generation of AEgir.
